Claire Conley works to find purpose in the inheritance of her estranged father. Renovating an old mansion for the sake of placing foster kids, she discovers that there’s more time and energy needed than she thought. But with the help of lawman Joe Sheenan, and his twelve-year-old daughter Amelia, Claire finds more than enough love and support to make her dreams a reality.
A litter of kittens begins pulling Amelia from her shell, providing Joe an opportunity to become the father he always wished he’d been. Claire finds her own bit of belonging when the three of them create a family chemistry that can’t be matched. This story was sweet and intriguing. I recommend it for anybody who needs to make room for dreaming again.
